On June 21, SpecialPresidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa and Deputy Foreign Minister MikhailBogdanov received Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Russian Federation MohammedAl-Badri at the latter's request.

During their conversation, the officials exchanged views on the Middle East agenda, with an emphasis on settlement in Syria, the situation around Qatar and developments in Libya.

They also reviewed practical aspects of multi-faceted bilateral Russian-Egyptian cooperation.
