Within the framework of the 29th AU Summit, H.E. Amb. Smail Chergui, Commissioner for Peace and Security will, on Monday 3rd July 2017 at 16h00, hold a press conference on the following issue:State of Peace and Security in Africa focus on Somalia, South Sudan, and the Sahel Region and the Lake Chad Basin.

The briefing will be held in Small Conference Hall 4, at the new AU Conference Center, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Journalists are invited to take part in the press conference.
